softmodding for the illeterate

okay first off i'd like to thank all of you that have helped me when i messed up my hard drive(yet to this day i don't know how i fixed it).

okay lets get started. softmodding is extremely easy and it's one of those things i found out myself(i looked around found the stuff i needed and put two and two together). But what is common sense to me might not be to you.

first off if you have an action replay xbox device then you can skip to the spot where i show you how to get and transfer the game saves.

An action replay device is easy thing to make.
Things you will need:
a controller
Wire cutters
usb male ends
usb female if you want it

Okay take the controller and cut the end that goes to the break away. Now cut off a few inches of the outer casing off so that you have the wires exposed. Now cute the wire to the male end USB and do the same thing to the wires. Okay the easy part put the wires to the there colored friends meaning red with red and black with black, and so on. Now if done right there should only be a yellow wire left. That wire should be left alone you won't need it.

okay now you have all you need for the controller. okay now the no duh i forgot to mention use solder to connect the wires or just twist them and use electrical tape to prevent wires from touching one another.

okay now lets start modding.
