computer dvd player

After some help dvd player has vanished from computer has any1 heard of this before and what are my options??

 

Make sure all cables are in the plugs properly seated.
Go to Device Manager and find your drive, delete it from there and let Windows reinstall it after reboot.
If that does not work than the drive could be gone.

 

If the drive is connected, it should be detected in the bios/cmos setup screen.

 

Thanks for quick replys on both replys can not find so its gone how do i replace also when i connect usb cable from psp nothing happens but it shows up when im using my brothers computer

 

Are you talking about external drive?

 

dvd player were dvds go and usb ports underneath both stopped working and there is no sign of the dvd player on my manager device

 

where you but your dvds in and the usb ports underneath

 

Is the DVD player inside or outside of your computer case(box)?

When you start computer, does the light flash on DVD player, while computer is booting?

 

no it does not

 

Did you open up the PC and check that the power and data cables were connected?
