Recently, various images/videos have shown up blurry and corrupted, at first I thought it was a incompatibility with a new game due to my driver (I updated it before, and it made AOE3 mess up, so I downgraded it, and it fixed, so I assumed it was a one game thing) since it only showed up when I launched it, but today I started up a old game that I KNEW had no problems, and the text is corrupted. I tried re-installing the driver and it's still messed up, does anyone know what might cause this?

    Thank you.

Edit: You can view a picture of the text corruption here:

I would try to uininstall the card and uise the default windows drivers while you try to clean it all up a bit.

    Use this program:

    http://downloads.guru3d.com/download.php?det=745

to remove any left over bits of drivers. Then install ccleaner and run the cleaner and the registry scanner (in tools) and fix all reg problems (make sure to creat backup when asked).

Try to install drivers from fresh again, any better?

PS: Oh, I almost forgot, do the distortions resemble artifacts from heat when for instance overclocking a graphics card? Do they usually come when the card is under more load, for instance when running games? Could just be that your gpu and or ram is dying and there's no way around that other than get a new graphics card, but I would try the driver cleaner first.

That fixed my text corruption issue, thanks! It broke my driver's control panel though when I removed the driver and reinstalled it along with the control panel (I think its something in the registry pointing to the old location of the files for the control panel since the error message says file not found)....at least games are playable now.
