PowerDVD plays the Blue-Ray edition of Iron Man fine on my PC. But when I use AnyDVD HD to rip an ISO image to my hard drive, then mount it with Daemon Tools, Power DVD will no longer play it. I get an error that says: " A critical component of the player requires periodic updates. New movies could fail to play if the critical component is not updating promptly. Would you like to update now?" I push "yes," and I get the error message "There is a problem with the internet connection, the update did not complete. Please check the internet connection and try again." My internet connection is working fine, and I get the same errors with my firewall turned off. Soooo, (1) Why am I getting an error reading from an ISO file that I do not get reading from the disk? (2) Why won't PowerDVD connect to the interent? Thanks for your help.
