Convert DV25 AVI to Divx

I have been trying co convert my DV to Divx but i cant find a utility to convert the AVI file to mpeg4. I have downloaded every AVI to MPEG converter but none will accept the file format.

Can you actually watch the DV file (you're now speaking of DV files, not DVDs, right?) with any of the regular players like Media Player?

I can view file with any AVI player but I cant find a converter that will accept DV25 (digital Video from camcorder)data.

Try VirtualDub, it should accept all the formats that Media Player plays. You can find it from our software area.
