We just bought the ipod touch and we installed itunes. But we want to play files that we have on our computer and some are Windows Meadia Files and some are Flac files. We were told that the Ipod Touch wont play these files that we needed the program VLC so we downloaded the version 0.9.8 and installed it on our computer. How do we install it on the Ipod Touch so it will play these kinds of files.
    Thank you for your time

ok in order to play these files on ipod, they have to be converted to aac or mp3 itunes will encode wma files to mp3 i don't know about flac, but if you import the songs into itunes it will automatically encode them to the correct format, just open itunes and try importing the flac files and see if itunes can convert them. Try this tutorial i found on the web, i never try it, but you can give it a try. Good Luck.
