I just had my Westinghouse LCD TV fixed with audio problems and want to hook my VCR and DVD player up but no sound comes out of the TV. Audio does come out of the TV. I called Westinghouse and say that I may need YPBPR cable for the audio to work with the VCR and DVD player. Can anyone let me know if this is so?

If your TV has red, white, and yellow in-jacks and your VCR and DVD player have red, white, and yellow out-jacks and you set your TV to receive from the correct source (the components), then both audio and video should play through the TV. If it doesn't, the Westinghouse tech is giving you a line of BS. Note that you must have enough inputs on the TV to handle two different sources.

Thank you for that reply and that is what I thought. I have the yellow, red and white on both and I never had problems with audio coming out of my TV's before. The Rep really didn't sound like she knew what she was talking about.
