hmmmmmmmmmm well i have patched it. tell me is there any way to upload the patch i will upload it for you
but i have updated the graphic driver too but still i am facing with the problem that as soon as the palm harbor rally race is completed the screen goes black and nothing happens
it even not give me any error alert
that is why it is hard to point the problem.

    LOL
there isn't a patch yet, stop assuming :p

    @mufti
I was having the same problem on a job I was trying to do, but it kept crashing before the race, while it was loading :(

I did a couple of other events, and then tried it and it worked, some sort of bug.

I suggest you try the same thing
    Good luck

it appears to be an in-game bug. did you get any install errors?
    most likely not.

do you know how to run directx dialog? start>run>dxdiag>ok

just go through the display tests and tell me if they were all successful. if they weren't there's a directx problem.

i know the things i have suggested have a 99% chance of not being the problem but i can't see a major flaw as to help you with, (considering there's no patches yet)

oh wait! i think i got it. you know the ingame graphics? it HAS to be one of them. i think your card isn't compatible with atleast one of the settings either being too low or either being too high.

i had a car texture problem in a previous nfs game where i had to up the graphics (i think it was car shadow), and on another card, refused to show anything more than a black car.

ray92, this could apply to you to so just fiddle with the ingame graphics guys.

Thanks, that could work in theory.......

But since it only happens when loading, I think it is just an in-game bug and nothing more

    perhaps,

oh, that reminds me! nfs series is coming to an end (rumour)

i really enjoy need for speed but to be honest, if it did end, i would kind of like it because, it is released way to quick. if it was like GTA and released once every few years, people would appreciate it more, including me. so anyway there ya go.

sorry i'm out of solutions, all i can say now is contact tech support but they're usually simple minded so don't expect a solution.

    graphic compactability checked
as pixel shrader 3 is required and i have it with my ati graphic card
well if GTA IV is running fine then it means that the problem is with nfs

other things that i have done according to your advices are

    direct x checked
game play of other events done
    still the problem presists
    there is no problem
is there is any other thing that is needed to be done

try low graphics from the game, then medium then high.

if gta 4 works, then the above could resolve it or a future patch could resolve it.

either way, if you can run gta 4, you have a powerful system and all i could advise is play on second system. (if it is unplayable), if it's just annoying, ignore it and continue playing.

also, try disable the advanced graphic option anti-aliasing. might be called full screen antialiasing or similar.(inside the options of the game, graphics.)
