Like another recent thread, my Firefox will not load at all. It will not load in firefox safe mode, the profiler will not load. All was fine until late last night. I've never used any extra addons or themes. I did not install any new software.

I did try uninstalling and installing numerous times. Along with completely wiping all the profile data and attempting to start anew. Starting the computer in safe mode, I was able to get it to work. Back in normal mode it ran for about 30 seconds, then abruptly closed and resumed it's not working status.

On the process window, when I try to open firefox, the firefox.exe shows up for just a split second before disappearing off the list. So I have no idea what is going on with it. I do not believe it is a problem with malware or the like, as the only thing being effected is my ability to use firefox.

Any help would be very much appreciated.

    Thank you for the response.

I followed that exactly and the problem still persists.

Try this: (Found on different forum site).

To completely uninstall Firefox, you will need to delete your Profile folder.
This file is not removed when you uninstall Firefox from Add/Remove.
It will retain all of your previous settings, and re-apply them to your new install, if it's not deleted.
That's why, when you install a new version of Firefox, your previous settings, bookmarks, passwords, etc., all remain the same.
For a Fresh (start from scratch) install, this folder has to be removed.

Here's how to manually uninstall Firefox, including the Profile folder:

Set windows to show hidden files.

Uninstall your current version of Firefox from Add/Remove programs.
    Then navigate to:
C:\ Documents and Settings \ "your user name" \ Application Data \ Mozilla \ Firefox \ Profiles
Delete the Profiles folder (or send it to the Recycle Bin as a backup).
    Then navigate to:
C: \ Program Files \ Mozilla Firefox, and delete that folder.

    Then reinstall Firefox.

Thanks for your response as well.

That pesky profile folder had eluded me before. After uninstalling, deleting that folder, revo had already deleted the install folder, it still does not work. I just do not get it. I'm not too dumb when it comes to computers, and I did spend a couple hours searching through google results with nothing that helped.

So this is what I know:
The profile folder did not effect it runing or not.
It works fine when windows is in safe mode.
I do not have any odd processes running that I don't know.
I have run a few different virus and malware scans just to be sure and have had nothing found.
