Is linpus lite a debian derivative? n00buntu binaries don't tend to work well on anything but full n00buntu systems.

Alright I tried installing many packages but quite a lot of them didn't work with this distro, so I searched elsewhere for others.

After rather a lot of experimentation with different distros, I've decided to stick with Linux Mint 6 for now, as it seems to contain much software in the repositories, including cube 2:saeurbraten.

Not to mention it is sooooo much easier to use and seemingly more compatible than any packages on fedora 10 (I've been using this distro for a while, but it is too complicated for me to handle right now despite my much devoted time).

Perhaps for a newbie this should be the distro of choice...
