i just got my z-5500 and new sound card this one http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a … 6829102019 i love the speakers and all just one little problem i try playing a game that i know supports Dolby digital but its not outputting dolby its doing dolby PL2 movie according to the LCD screen.this happens with all my games even try gta 4 but it wont even work on that but when i watch HD movies i see it does the dolby digtal and dts no problems there btw im hook up tho optical out on the sound card.Its pc games 360 and ps3 works fine with dolby my system setup vista ult 64bit driver is all up to date
just check the ingame audio, there's nothing you can really, do. if you're all setup then all you can do is blame the game for not supporting it.
