Uninstalling apple software update - HELP!!

I bought a new i pod nano and it wouldn't work unless I had i tunes 8, so I uninstalled all of my previous i tunes software except the apple software update because it wouldn't allow me to remove it. I now cannot download my new i tunes 8 until its gone so I have no i tunes at all!..Anyone know how to get rid of it??Please.

 

why would you unistall previous software when you update it removes it and then downlaods the new one were you on 7 before i would try redownloading your previous one im sure you can find a download on google.

ain't working..it says it can't open bcos it was created by a newer version...

the i tunes 7 that i downloaded..it said that was created by a newer version!?

 

uhh im not really sure if you need to delete the itunes update thing search for it on your computer and remove it
