CODEC AND WINDOWS MEDIA PLAYER

    I see your finger got stuck on the "Caps Lock". Please fix that, no need to write exclusively in capital letters, some find that obnoxious. I could care less.

    What kind of video/audio are you trying to play?

    Install ffdshow .

    sorry about the caps but I have a vision problem. I was trying to play a DVD on windows media player I am running vista business. error message said no decoyder installed. Windows has the codec pkg for media player but you have to buy them.

    I don't care about the caps, but it is a good practice to abide by forum rules!
    Install ffdshow like I suggested, or even better, use VLC or MPC to play your DVDs.

    Thx I download VLC and it played dvd with no problems. Thx for your help. shopnlady
