I am trying to burn an SVCD to CDR with Nero and it won't copy due to the file being larger than allowed on the CDR. Do I need to split the file or is there some other way to get it to run and just add the second CDR when it reaches the end of the first?
Did you enable overburn in expert features tab folder? What file format is the SVCD? (MPEG2, iso, bin& cue) Do you have the MPEG2(SVCD plug-in) for Nero? Shoey
I have NeroSmartStart and it was an MPEG that I encoded to an SVCD. After it created the SVCD and when it gets ready to copy it onto the CDR it tells me there is not enough space on the disk. I don't see an expert tab but I'm trying to copy the file again. Unfortunately the Nero help doesn't help! I tried that first. I'll let you know if it copies it and I'll look for the expert tab too. This seems like a lot more work than I would've thought!! You'd think you could just copy it! Oh well, I won't give up till I get it.
Nero SmartStart... the bane of my existence 1. Goto the Data Tab (second from left) 2. Click "Make Data Disc" 3. Nero BurnignROM should open up. If NeroExpress opens up, click the "Nero" button at the bottom. 4. Now File -> Preferences --> Expert Settings 5. Enable Overburn and set the box to like 99 minutes 6. Burn SLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW
Thanks for the info....but..........how slooooooooooooow? I'm really really new to this so any info you can give me is greatly appreciated. I was told that I should just download VCD's and that would take care of the problem, however, then I have to figure out which of my 3 DVD's will actually read it. But.........there aren't many of those available to download. Also, do I always have to encode before I copy? Or is it somehow possible to just copy it? without going through the couple of hours to encode. Sorry for the 50 questions.
