Knackered Box ?

Neighbour dropped off box on last roll last month, updated ROM 7 tested and took it round, thought nothing of it until he told me it doesn't work (?) He brought it back today and when I went to reflash it, noticed that only the Beta Research start up screen bit comes on and stays on (though flashes of every few seconds) and doesn't go beyond this. Flashing Assistant warns of waiting for Dbox to restart and won't start flash process ...

Has this (Sagem Dbox2) gone to the great scrapheap in the sky ???

Jeez - where did all the helpful people go to ? 2nd thread and not one measly reply but I have sorted by myself on both accounts now ... a good old failsafe 'whack on the box' did the trick - works good as new now
