easycap adaptor

    when transferring from sony dcr51e video fine but no sound cant find info in manual running on xp , any ideas please

    When trying to get help, you might want to provide a lot more information!

    Your video camcorder is a DCR-HC51E!! If you don't know that, then I can see the possibility as to why you are having problems.

    I would think that you have your Sony, connected to your computer, via a USB cable, which just isn't going to cut it.

    Get a firewire cable, and connect the Sony to your computer, that way. :wink:

    hi, thanks for reply, points noted. i was using the easycap usb 2.0 video adaptor with audio, to my sony dcr-hc51e and picture was ok just no sound, will invest in firewire though thanks

    You got no sound, because the USB port, on your camcorder, is for downloading still pictures. It isn't for video capture.
