    Hi

I just recently formated my HDD to change from Vista back down to XP. The problem is that during the instal windows installed its files to my spare HDD on the system (drive E) insted of the one it should have went to, drive C.

At the moment I have one system drive that I want to hold everything and a boot drive that I want to use for file storage.

Is there anyway to move the contents of E to C or change E to the system drive as well as the boot drive?

    Thanks in advance.

remove E drive leaving only C

install obsolete M$ rubbish to C .. configure bios to boot that drive

replace E and delete system files from root of E drive and windows folder.

That's the easy way.. useless XP will always label the drive that has a filesystem before one which it sees as unformatted which happens during the cocked up installer routine.

user error --- replace user and click OK :)
