I have a 720p mkv (h264 with DTS) file. I used three techniques to convert that to a Blu Ray DVD. I have a TV that plays NTSC 720p/1080i. I tried 24, 24000/1001 and 29.97 fps. What am I missing in the DVD creation that leads to this error?
Do other .mkv's work on your bluray player using these methods? If they do, then I'd look at the video details of that .mkv. Download MediaInfo GUI and then compare it to an .mkv that works. See what's different. Then make it the same.
