   I have a compaq persario.I had to reformat my whole computer and it is not reconizing my after market monitor. How do i fix this problem. Its driving me nuts. Any help is appreciated, also i dont know what kind of monitor i have i got it as a gift and the is a symbol V7 on the corner, and its a 19 inch.Also should i update anything else. Sorry Im not very computer smart. Thanks again
