hey guys I'm somewhat new on this so I don't happen to know much

i just recently bought the movie "Diamonds" with Robert Shaw on DVD, but it happened to have NO subtitles, and I looked in ALL the web for them, but they don't exist...

so I decided to make them on subtitle workshop, but there is an inconsistency... i mean

lets say i have to place a subtitle at 00:03:56-00:03:59 in certain scene, so i place it, but then, after making other subtitles, i return to this one and it isn't synched, so i go back to that scene and discover its timeline somehow changed to 00:03:59-00:04:03!! then i place it there, but then it changes again, and i end up with text here and there..

my question is: Is there a way to solve this? or is there a better program to create subtitles?

better still, does someone know where can i get, if there is any, a subtitle for this movie (in spanish, i forgot to mention) ?

Any help will be highly appreciated.

Have you checked the frames per second on Subtitle Workshop? That might be the issue... but I haven't used SW that much, so I'm not sure if that's the problem.

As for a better program, I know Subtitle Processor lets you load up the video to make it easier to synch the subs. I'm not sure if SW lets you do that, but yeah...

You could also try out Aegisub. It's made more for .ssa and .ass subtitles, but I THINK it should work to make any type of subs.
