I just formatted my freeagent 1tb external harddrive to FAT32 using the Swissknife program. Did it so i can have it work for my PS3. However, I only have 429gb of freespace now instead of the original 931gb. how do i get the fullspace? thanks for any help.
Was the space left when you were about to format it 429gb? If it was, the program might have had a bug, and corrupted all of the space that was used, then formatted the rest. If it wasn't, then you should try reformatting it to what it came formatted as, and that might reset it. If neither works, then the disk is corrupted, and cannot be fixed for free.
