cannot locate .sav file on r4ds

    hello i am having trouble with my r4ds, everytime i download a new game recently it doesnt work, the message i recieve is " cannot locate .sav file" anyone got sum advice? thanks

    You might need to upgrade to the latest firmware for you card
    latest firmware
    Original R4ds....v1:18
    Clone............v1:20

    You need to put the Arm 7 patch - this makes most games work but not all, the R4 will have no further official updated so work arounds exist.

    Go to gbatemp.net and look at their R4 forum, there is different operating software and also instructions for installing the arm 7 patch

    Hi,

    Do you have v1.18 firmware on there or v1.20 ?

    v1.18 upgrade with v1.19 (Unofficial) it will do this ARM7 patching automaticly for you, then all problematic games should play.

    v1.20 upgrade with v1.25 that was released not long ago !
