That link to the other thread is really a cumbersome way to do this simple thing.

Simply download the game which would be in ISO format.
Download a wonderful burning software, especially for PS2 games, known as DVD DECRYPTER.

Burn the ISO file using DVD Decrypter onto a blank CD/DVD, depending on the size.

That's it!
