Floppy Drive problem

    Recently I attempted to use my floppy drive to make some boot disks for an older computer. I put in a floppy and there was no access on the drive. Windows sees the drive, there is no BIOS failure of the drive but when I attempt to access it there is no drive access. What could be wrong?

    reseat the floppy cable both on the drive & on the motherboard. try the drive on another pc to see what happens.
