I've ordered my modchip (Xecutor 2.3 Pro), and I'm working on my .iso file using evox 3935 (with M7 bios).

    - The tutorial I'm using for creating my dashboard .iso says I should see a file called "default.xbe", but my version only has "evoxdash.xbe" Does it matter that my .xbe file says "evoxdash" and not "default"? Should I rename my file to "default.xbe" before I create my .iso? (Or am I just a HUGE newbie here asking the dumbest question ever!)

    - Regarding FTPing my Xbox...can't I just use Internet Explorer to FTP my box and grab files from it? I've only seen a few references to using IE for FTP tasks, and not many details??

Thanks for the help anyone can provide!

The exoxdash.xbe is the executable and the m7 bios looks to boot evoxdash first so your xbox will boot evox.

Just grab flashfxp its a piece of cake.

    Thanks for the info!

I'm sure I'll wind up using flashfxp, but my curiosity has got the better of me...has anyone had any good (or bad) results using windows IE to FTP their xbox?

You can't upload in true FTP style with IE.

Whilst IE has an upload function, it's lame and wont work properly. There are loads of free FTP applications out there, to get started, use FlashFXP, it has a 30 day free trial, then once you are up and going, you could try new FTP clients then.

Thanks for the feedback. Might play with IE some and see what kind of transfer rates I can get.
