Are you by any chance using a wireless keyboard and mouse?

well yes but the way the sensor is conected is through ps/2
i've just recent pluged a wire keyboard in to the ps/2 and it works i tryed a wired mouse and it didn't want to know
i've only just this second put another wireless mouse in which connects through usb and thats working great
i think it may be the sensor but it was really bugging
