Heya guys, listen my computer recently started freezing whenever i tried playing Crysis warhead or GTA4 or Far cry 2. Ive played all of them and in the middle of GTA 4 and FC2 and one day i jus went on m yPC to play one of the 2 and it jus hangs, i unistalled them and reinstalled them, no luck... i scanned for viruses, it found a trojan and then i deleted it, rebooted but no luck... then i tryd a frends registry Clean up thing which also proved to be useless.. Still no luck... Im running windows XP SP3... Any suggestions are welcome...i havnt changed any hardware on my PC while playing the games, this all just started randomly... my PC specs are in my signature... thnx guys
do you have a firewall on? If you do try to see if it is interfering with your games because this is what happends to me...I try to play any game and it just freezes when its trying to start. I later found out that it was my firewall preventing my game from starting because it saw my games as 'unknown programs'
