Hi all. I was copying jpg photos from my PC to an SD card when suddenly it refused to copy anymore. A message kept popping up saying the following: "error copying file or folder" The message inside read:
"cannot create (photo name) directory or file cannot be created" There is plenty of memory spare on the SD card, and now the photos will not copy from my external hard drive either displaying the same message. Cannot anyone help?
    Thanks and happy new year.

Are you copying them all into the root of your card? If so I have heard of issues of some memory sticks/cards being unable to take over 128/256 individual items in it's root folder, regardless of size. Try copying them all into a folder on the sd card.
