I have the LG GGW-H20L blu-ray/HD-DVD drive and I am using PowerDVD Ultra. (it came bundled with the drive) I have installed the "critical" update from cyberlink but my problem still persists. When watching a movie on either BD or HD-DVD, PowerDVD randomly fast-forwards/rewinds for no reason. This happens at least 2-3 times during the movie; which is annoying as i have to pause&play to continue watching. Can anyone suggest what i could do to stop this? The only thing I can think of is to try different software..
I have tried using 'arcsoft totalmeadia theatre' and i am getting the same problem. It randomly starts 'fast forwarding' the movie. So know i know it can't be a software problem as it happens with both powerdvd and arcsoft. I am going to see if there is a FW update for my bluray drive, hopefully this will help. ...The only thing i can think of is if something else on my computer is interfering in some way. (wireless keyboard, mouse? etc..)
