When I play my AVI files in media player the audio synchs perfectly with the video all the way through the vid. When I burn the AVI file to be played in a dvd player with super dvd creator the audio starts out o.k. but after a few minutes it is no longer synched. Is this just a super dvd creator problem (because it plays fine in media player) or can this actually be fixed with VirtualDub or some other program? And if so how? Thanks

    Hi

    1) convert avi to dvd with dvd fick (free)
    2) use dvd shrink to transcode and output as iso
    3) burn with Imgburn

    All the programs are free.

    Hope this helps,

    Jo

what can you do.. well how about thiking of a better thread title and learning a little patience?.. It's new years eve.. by my clock 10.23pm

The audio sync problem is probably caused by that super thing.. whatever it is using mencoder.. try a ffmpeg transcoder like avidemux (set to auto dvd) and convert to mpeg2 first and check that the file is still in sync.. if it is then dump it in dvd flick and make a disk in the usual way.
