i've got one day to decide, they are both the same price. I had LN40a630 but it broke so i have to take it back. i looked up green static and it seems like this problem is common with these tv's. im lucky it happened sooner than later. should I risk it happening again (samsung is rumored to have awesome customer service so if it breaks within a year they will send someone to fix it). on the other hand the plasma is 50" and i hear plasmas look better than LCD. so it comes down to the age old question of plasma vs LCD (TH-50PZ80U vs ln40A630)
