windows was unable to install your USB2.0 ser!

    i think there was a cd for it but cant be found high and low in the house- is there anywhere to download the software

    everywhere i look i keep getting back to driver detective- this costs $30- would this do it- anywhere i can locate it for free

    please help- very anxious to get it working

    what is the make & model# of the computer or motherboard?

    its an acer extentsa 4220

    its for a routeing between my laptop and digital box

    what windows & sp are you using? look in device manager for universal bus controller & see if you have an intel usb2 enhanced host controller. is there an yellow exclamation mark in device manager?
