Hi guys...my Canon Pixma ip4000 is about 2yrs old and has worked faultlessly up to now. it keeps throwing up a message that its out of paper when its not. I tried feeding in one sheet at a time but theres a lot of clicking going on and no movement. Any ideas before i open it up ?
I have 3 canon printers and haven't encountered that problem, you might want to check the inkjet stuff forum, there are many inkjet experts there. That's where I get all my printer information. http://www.nifty-stuff.com/forum/viewforum.php?id=2
Ok got it working again. The paper feed rollers needed to be cleaned. I followed the instructions in the user manual i stumbled across and hey presto !!
