Hello All - I have been using The Box PVR since Jan 2008 - but lost all channels just a week or so before Xmas. In trying to get everything sorted - I have uploaded the following files - but nothing works!

    BoxPVR_E_v4500_06Jul

    StarViewPVR-21122008

    BoxPVR_E_v4506_15Oct

    TheBoxPVR_v3105_08Dec2008

I have deleted all channels from the unit - and have reformatted the hard disk to ensure nothing was causing a problem.

I have ensured that the update facility was on - and have checked codes etc using the secret menu (i)+2007

I have run out of ideas - and would appreciate any help in sorting this problem. I am in Dublin - just in case this is relevant.

Many thanks in anticipation for your help on this one!

Yes - cables and network provider are all OK.

Am wondering if the uploader is correct - do I need to use a specific uploader for the bin files??

what method are u using to update the firmware on the box? null modem cable or update from the hdd? try re-flashing it again, sometimes mine does the same, after re-flash should sort itself out.

Thanks kevsb - I tried your uploader utility - still nothing!

I used the same utility to get the file uploaded when I bought the PVR originally - and I am a null modem cable - any other thoughst or suggestions??

OK....here's where I have to admit making a very basic error. I had the cable in the aerial socket - - and not in the tuner input socket!
Thanks for all the advice and patient help.

    Everything working now!
