If you have a router it makes sense that your son's computer can connect to the internet but not see the files on your computer. What I Would try first is reset up the network on all the computers starting with yours. When you set it up use a basic workgroup/network name like home. I believe that with Vista it offers to make a network setup disk for the other computers. I really can not check at the moment because my Psu on my vista computer fried the other day and i have a new one on order. Once you get the set up on yours and your daughters computer working again then reset up your sons. Some times it is just something simple in the setup procedure that you may have missed. I know that one time i forgot to check a box on a setup one time and it took me a while to figure it out. If this does not work let me know in detail everything you have tried and i will check what my networking books say. Good luck

Make sure they are on the same workgroup then test while firewalls are off. If that doesn't work, try browsing to the computer via \\IP_Address\c$
