Hi, first post. have read and fixed problems before on this site but never had to post. I have a starview 2 "the box", api ver:4.50e_E, boot version 7.0 which was working fine until I went away for xmas. came back and the update wont work. On some channels it just stays at 0% on others it goes up to mayb 210% but the screen just stays blank and then it updates again. In Ireland(Dublin) with N*L. I have tried rescanning channels and resetting default key, emu is on etc. Do i need to update the firmware to get the channels working, I never have before. I have re-scanned the channels many times and have reset to factory setting a few times also. Any help appreciated.

I have a null modem and did a firmware update. It changed nothing so I went back to the previous firmware. This was prior to my original post. after updating firmware should I do something differently. I just downloaded the latest firmware and flashed the box.
you just need v4.03 loader and the 457 bin file, once you update f/w do a factory reset, then scan with your area provider, then menu 1570 set default key, emu on and exit back 2 a $ channel and wait for it to update JoK
