digivox xl problem with downloader 10

Hi All, hope someone can help me out plz. Pretty plz??
i'm trying unsuccesfully to get my digivox xl working again. Have downloader 10, but when i try and select the bin file under com3 - as this is the only com that seems to be working- the progress bar doesn;t seem to do anything. what am i doing wrong? selected the bin file from the list, unzipped it, followed the tutorial but still no luck. Thanks in advance guys.

 

what are u using pc with xp and null modem cable and com port?

i'm using RS232 null modem cable from digivox connected directly to the USB port of laptop. Laptop is running Vista. I've downloaded the drivers for the cables, but not sure what i'm missing
