ipod touch crashes itunes

    i have the newer ipod touch 2nd generation had it since it came out but every time i plug it in and start itunes it just crashes itunes

    i know it is not itunes that is faulty cause i have tryed to run it in

    1. windows 7 (beta of new windows)
    2. windows vista
    3. mac os x 10.5.6

    they all crash when plugging in my ipod so i know its not itunes itself so dont tell me to renstall it

    So to any one who is reading this the problem was acctualy the cable for the iPod itself I tryed a new cable and it worked fine
