hi all, i recently tryed reflashing my box using ftp,all went wel upto the point i rebooted!! now all i get is kien error. i tryd to use ifa linked with a crossover cable.the prog sends to the box but nothing happens the screen on the box doesnt change still saying kien error is it possible to use a crossover or do i have to use the rs232 port? all firewalls and av are disabled too by the way. i tryed doing it myself because i keep getting charged 30 quid to fix it i also have a sagem box that all the channels have gone off but i cant do anything because my dog ate the remote!!!!!! unless u guys have a way around it?!?!?! any help is much aprecciated thanks
Starting with your second problem first, SHOOT THE DOG ! ! On your first problem, sounds like you're flashing with the wrong image . You need to know whether it's a 1x or a 2x image you require. The cause of your "kein error" is flashing with the wrong type of image.
right the dogs dead lol. ive tryed using commando 7,8,9 sportster images trinity...and a few others. thing is,none of them seem to get further than 4 of the lights on the front light up then "kien system" ifa sends to dbox,dbox replies then nothing. is it because im using the crossover?
I can do both of the boxes for 20 squid. I would not bother trying to learn how to do it yourself at this stage as they will all be down come the end of march as NT** finally bought a new encryption system. PM me if interested.....

thats he point paul,im not arsed about paying for them to be done i want to learn about them n how they tick i dont like havin to rely on someone else. not meanin u guys cos u all know ur stuff. i live in manchester btw if i put on a new image do i still need keys?? gettin a little ahead of myself. but i cant wait to crack the little buggers. thanks again all
opened box it has 2x intel i tryed sportster ultra i did the ifa and the two outer buttons to reset. i did this around 50 times maybe more still nothing i checked the network and irs showing everytime i reset the pc sends a packet then recieves 1 then "kien system" still only using a crossover. on the plus side ive ordered a replacement remote for my sagem which should arrive on sat so i know how to scan but do i need a key to get the chanels bak on at the moment i only have the free channels but do have the epg for all the other ones. this is typical of me, i get an idea in my head then i have to find out everythin!!! soz if im askin to much guys
ok i bought a null modem cable and used a guide i found using the hyperterminal... success!!! i installed commando 9 and its booted up. now.... theres no channels i tryed scan and didnt find any transponders i think i need to read through the posts again to find the solution, unless u guys can help me out again. ifa just wouldnt work and i found the guide quite easy to follow if anyone wants the guide pm me and ill send it to you. thanks for your help bidunc
On Remote Push Blue Set My location Net id scanning Scroll to your location and select Box will reboot and be ready to scan your Area when it comes back on ...Paul
No On most images Some its blue then Blue again But all latest images have Net id scanning .............Paul
ok ive fixed the kien error ive installed commando,done me bouquets and service files,tryed the keys and have nothing in there i mad a keylist with notepad and ftp it into var keys.nothing! do i in put the keys with 00=..... 01=..... or do i just input the keys without the 00=,01= and just the numbers? i know im close but just cant seem to get the channels on
Theres no Cam in commando images mate You need to add one to var/bin/ comodd it to 755 Add 7 fix to var keys And away you go ...............Paul
ok using commando 9 got channels but no picture.. do i need keys n if so where can i get em . do i need cams if so where can i get em? ive been trying now for weeks to restore my channels ive tryed sportster,commando blade trinity.... im determined to get this thing going. also do i need the nagra7 bin in var/keys????? at my wits end fellas.... HELP!!
As Paul said you need to add a CAM/EMU you can get this from another image and then CHMOD it. You also need to add the new ROM/ROMs. I have added 7, 10 and 11 as it works a lot better where I am. Why Commando 9 as 10c is the latest version and is obviously much better, thanks to the hard work put in by the team involved.
