Hey folks, i'm itching to flash the TSOP on one of by boxes with a matrix chip. V1.1 box. i've read every tutorial around on this and they all vary somewhat. I want to hear from anyone that has actually done it. Do not post links to tutorials, i've read the same ones you have. i want to hear from people that have actually done it and got it to work with a matrix chip. and do you take the wires back off of the board, and desolder the bridged jumpers? no tutorial says anything about what to do after the flash.

Update - ok i followed every tutorial i could find. did everything correctly, double and triple checked it all, still could not get the matrix chip to do anything with the evox_matrix_TSOP.bin that every tutorial said to use. tried grounding the T1, even grounding the d0 as a few tutorials said would work. nothing, zip, i get the triple reboot every time, in any mode. i know my solder connections were fine, and the alignment of the chip was perfect. so after about 40 failed attempts, i gave up. c'mon, someone has had to have made this work.

i used matrix only to ftp 007 into game save and to rebuild retail harddrive, thensoldered then flashed using raincoat007
i did not use the switch method,>>>when i soldered the two spots my my matrix did not want to work correctly<<<<,i didn't rebuild retail harddrive first and had to desolder then rebuild retail harddrive ,my ftp 007aufwithraincoat was still there, then i took matrix out and then did raincoat with agentunderfire
(i put 4981.06 in bios.bin for me in game save)
worked like a charm, i have since got a memory card and would simply rebuild retail harddrive, then remove matrix, then solder, then memory card game save in and run raincoat now.
