hi there everyone, my daughter was downloading something, and the short version is she has unleashed a virus called TR/Crypt.xpack.gen and I've tried everthing snd it keeps blocking my attempts to get rid of it, it wont let open spybot, and it wont let anti virus update and and it wont let open any sites that have the fix for it, finally got the fix onto pc but the virus wont let it work, any ideas from anyone would be gratefully recieved, thanks
yea try booting into safe turn pc off and repeatedly press f8 after turning it on until it ask if you want to go into safe mode and hit enter when in safe mode run spybot and your antivirus hope this helps
thanks but have tried to run programs in safemode also and it still blocks programs, but thanks for trying to help
