Hi everyone, im new to this forum...Does anyone know a way to keep the DTS audio on 720p MKV rips with a resolution of 1280X544 etc. that are being burnt to dvd and to be watched on a ps3? Certain 720p rips with DTS audio, with a resolution of 1280X720, can easily just be ran through TSmuxer which lets you keep the DTS audio...but the other releases with DTS but a resolution of 1280X544 will not work in TSmuxer unless you want a huge green border along the bottom of your movie...and with MKV2vob the dts gets turned into ac3 audio...does anyone know a way to do this?...I would love to keep the DTS audio.

    Hi,
take a look at RipBot. It has fairly simple interface settings to add back the missing borders to make a 522 -> 720 stream. I believe you can also remux the audio or just leave as is. Should be listed in the tools thread on this forum.

    cheers.

Hey, thanks...I had ripbot installed but never even figured out that I could add the "black bars" back to the movie...thanks again for bringing this to my attention...Only bad thing is that I have noticed how long its going to take to complete...it was displaying ETA: 24hrs and something...OUCH!...is this normal?

well...it actually took 34+ hrs to complete but its finally done...thanks...I need a better processor...lol
