I don't know if this is a virus. While I was downloading a file, my computer stucked and it no longer works ever since.

Here is the problem. When I turned on my computer, after the window started up, 2 seconds later, the screen turns blue and there is this message:

A problem has been detected & window has been shut down to protect damage to your computer

    DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

If this is the first time you have seen this stop error screen, restart your computer. If this sceen appears again, follow these steps:

Check to make sure any new hardware or software is properly installed. If this is a new insallation, ask your hardware or software manufacturer for any window updates you might need.

If problem continues, disable or remove any newly installed hardware or software. Disable BIOS mememry option such as caching or shadowing. If you need to use safe mode to remove or disable componets, restart your computer, press F8 to select advance start up option, and then select safemode

    Technical Information:

    ***STOP: 0X00000D1 (0XE189E000, 0X00000002, 0X0000000, 0SEF917D50)

    Beginning dump of physical memory
    Physical memeory dump complete.
Contact your system administration or technical support group for further assistance

This message pops up every time I turn on my computer and my computer is no longer working. PLEASE HELP.......

    Thank you so much,

Boot your pc into safe mode and uninstall any programs that you recently installed just before you pc stopped working, if that doesnt solve the problem, then boot back into safe mode and try to restore your pc to a previouse restore point. (To get into safe mode, as the computer is booting press and hold your "F8 Key" or tap the "F8 key" which should bring up the "Windows Advanced Options Menu". Use your arrow keys to move to "Safe Mode" and press your Enter key).
