Need some Advice...

    I have a Thompson drive in my xbox but I have a Samsung (SDG-605 xbox original) in hand.

    Does anyone know how the correct procedures for swapping drives?

    1) do I have to flash new firmware or is it a straight swap?

    All you have to do is open the xbox and remove the ide cable and the yellow power cable from the tompson drive and plug it into the samsung.
