installing software

    I'm trying to install a software"the printshop/createacard" by Broderbund. It's starts off all right but everytime it reaches a certain spot it freezes. Task manager says it's running? All day? so I finally cancel it and I get this message "remote procedure failed"
    I'm using windows xp home edition and have lotta memory.Any ideas? I've tried a lotta suggestions by broderbund.

    make sure any security software is shut down when you install.

    Thanks. I did that plus any other program running in the back ground.
    I'll keep trying. It stops as it is installing true fonts.
