Further to a previous post,i have been looking at the very small IPOD SHUFFLE,it comes with the basic features,which is what i need Question is,is the cable connector the same as the other Ipods out there? not the usb end,but the end that connects to the ipod itself I wont be using the docking station,but using it in the car,which has a ipod adapter connected to the car stereo shown here http://caraudiosecurity.com/shop/popup_image.php?pID=4491
Well unfortunally no, the ipod shuffle don't use the regular ipod connector to sync instead is a round headphone like plug, it is a share connection, means same connection for the headphones and the sync cable. i was just at the apple store and i my self was curious about the connection on the shuffle. Thanks for letting me know I guess i need an ipod with the cable conections i need,which is a shame,as the shuffle price new for a 1gb is only £30 Pity there isnt anything else that uses the same connections
