Buying a new pc

I'm planning to buy a new pc. I'm probably going to choose between these pc's:

1.
Intel core 2 quad q6600 (2,4Ghz)
4 GB RAM (2 x 2GB)
nVidia Geforce 9500GS with 256MB memory (i don't know the clockspeeds of this card)

2.
Intel core 2 quad q8200 (2,33 Ghz)
4 GB RAM (2 x 2GB)
ATI Radeon HD3650 with 512 MB memory
I could find the clockspeed of this card:
Clockspeed: 725 Mhz
I found more memory clockspeeds: 500, 800, 1000, 1400


I'd like to know the clockspeeds of the nVidia Geforce 9500GS and which pc you guys would choose.

 

They're both very poor for gaming.

 

I don't game a lot, but you can probably play games as crysis with the second pc because I think it's better than the first one.

But i wanna know which pc you would choose and what the clock speeds of the geforce 9500GS are.

 

Not really, the HD3650 is a very mediocre graphics card.
Forget about the clock speeds of the other card, clock speeds have nothing to do with graphics card performance.

 

And the memory clockspeed of the Radeon HD3650 is probably 1000 Mhz

 

What does matter about the preformance?

 

The graphics card, basically, there's no substitute for knowledge of which cards are good and bad. Right now, the HD3650 and 9500GS are bad. You should consider something like an HD4670 at least, preferably an HD4800 series.

 

What do you recommend with a budget of 500-600 maybe 700 euro. I know a site where you can select your parts yourself and they asemble it for you, but it's usually more expensive than buying it in the store.

I'm now going to try a configuration with an HD4800 or something and a q6600 and see how expensive it is

 

I've made a pc with an q8200 (2,33Ghz), q6600 they didn't sell anymore, 4 GB RAM, ATI Radeon HD4830, they rest was almost the cheapest stuff i could find, and I almost got to 700 euros, so that's quitte expensive

 

It wouldn't cost you anywhere near that much to build a PC with those components.

 

Do you know a good site where you can make you're own pc which can also be shipped to the Netherlands

 

I'm afraid I don't, have a look around and see if Google Products finds anything.

 

How about an AMD Athlon64 X2 6000+ (3,1 Ghz dual core) + Sapphire HD4830 (512 MB, 256 bit bus, 575 Mhz, 900 Mhz memory)

 

The graphics card is much better, but you would do better with the processors you had before.

 

Ok, but I can't spend more the 600-650 euros

That's about 690 euros.

 

With Vista Home Premium 64bit around 100 euros, that makes almost 800 euros = too much

 

Are you actually going to play high end games with this system? If you're not, a lot can be saved on the CPU and graphics card.

 

I'll probably gonna do some lan partys with games like Call of Duty and I'm gonna do a lot of file-copying to USB device, video-editing, video-converting.

 

What size monitor will you use?
The video editing/enccoding indicates you'll want a good quad core CPU, and that will also handle Call of Duty fine, but to get you an appropriate graphics card I need to know what resolution you're using.
