Windows counterfeit popup?

    A friend of a friend built this new PC for me months ago but now there is a popup and also a small window in the lower right of my desktop saying that this version of windows in counterfeit.

    I don't really care about that and I didn't know he was gonna program it like this. I just want it off as it is kind of annoying. Solutions?

    heres a shot in the dark.maybe your copy of windows is not genuine.ask buddy if he installed a pirated copy and if he did,kick his ass.theres too many ways to get a legitimate copy to mess with a pirated one.

    Well duh I know it's a pirated copy but IDC...I just want the pop offs and tile off that's all.

    helps more if you dont use pirated crap.did you honestly think i didnt know it was a pirated copy?
