just got my ipod and having to put all my cd's into itunes etc, but my computer wont be able to handle me putting all my albums onto its memory, so how do I delete albums off the computer after they have been transfered onto my ipod with out it saying 'will be deleted off synced ipod too' ???

before you delete the songs of the computer, connect the ipod, once your ipod shows in itunes, select, manually manage my ipod, this mean you have to manually drag the songs to it from itunes and manually eject when your done. but one small suggestion, Big hard drives have become so inexpensive, you could pic a 1 TB HD for about $150.00 and you can move your itunes library to it. that way there's no chance you may delete the songs from the ipod by accident. Look at the link bellow and see for your self about external storage for your PC.

    WD 1 TB
