Hello everyone, I recently ordered a 2 tb external which shipped preformatted in raid 1 (mirroring) but was wondering how i would go about changing it to raid 0 (stripping). i've looked all over and can't seem to find anything. Thanks for your help!
It depends on where the RAID is being managed. If the enclosure has the RAID controller, that is where it has to be changed. Check with the manufacturer. They may NOT support RAID 0 in their controller.
